Family Reunion 2008

After our fun Thomas adventure we headed up to Great Falls, MT for a family reunion. We had a wonderful time and were lucky enough to get to spend time with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Mike, Aunt "Great" Sam, and Aunt Mandy (among MANY others). Mat met a lot of family he didn't even know he had. It was really great to be able to spend time with family we don't get to see very often. Connor still makes great funny faces (thanks so much Uncle Mike) and keeps asking for "great" Sam and Aunt Mandy. We can't wait to see all of you again very soon, thank you so much for a wonderful weekend. I'll send copies of these pictures to everyone. Lots of love, we had a great time!

By the way, Connor also had a wonderful time playing the memory game and especially the Cooties game (thank you Aunt Sam and Uncle Mike). We will always fondly remember Great Falls bug.... And the duckies go in the tubby with us every night. They don't fly as well full of water (thanks a lot Grandpa and Uncle Mike).

Thomas 2008!!

We began our fun and busy Memorial Day weekend with a visit to Thomas the Tank engine before we started our trip to Great Falls. As expected, Connor had a wonderful time! He was so excited and had a wonderful time. The weather wasn't very good and we had to start our drive to Montana, so we didn't get to stay too long...just long enough to ride Thomas, get a "sticker" (tatoo) and buy a cool new train. Here are some pictures of our adventures!

I love riding Thomas!

This is fun!

I can't look now Mommy, THERE'S THOMAS!

Getting a sticker, I picked Rosie!

Hey, look, Mommy was there too!

Too Cute

WHAT A HAM! He won't usually wear any hats (much to Daddy's dismay, especiall baseball hats) but he did wear this one long enough for me to get this silly picture...

Me & My Friend Noah.. and Mother's Day

On Mother's Day the family got together and we went out to brunch. While we were there Connor got to play with one of his favorite little friends, his cousin Noah. The two were't very cooperative in letting me take their pictures, but here was the best I could get... along with one of everyone waiting for the table.

My Shadow and Me

I found this way too cute not to post. Everytime we mow the lawn, Connor has to get out his little bubble lawn mower and help. He follows Daddy around the entire lawn... like a little shadow.

POTTY TIME!

Although I don't have any pictures to go with this post (yet) we just had to share news that is very exciting in OUR house... Connor is FINALLY potty training. We are basically out of diapers except for at night. He started on Mother's Day.. what a great present. This could make our upcoming drive to Montana very interesting, but we'll take it. I'll try to get some pictures of the cute little bum in underwear!

Daddy's Little Helper

Daddy was out fixing sprinklers and he had a little shadow the entire time. It was just too cute to ignore...

Front Runner! WOOT WOOT

The new commuter rail opened and we went for a ride. The best part was that Aunt Sam came with us. Connor had a really great time and can't wait to go back. Next time Mommy needs to make sure she takes pictures of the TRAIN and not just me. Silly Mommy!

Aunt Sam is VERY cool!

Here we go.. this is FUN!

When is the next train?

DISNEYLAND!!!!!

We all just went on a wonderful vacation to Disneyland! Connor had a wonderful time (so did Mommy and Daddy, it IS the happiest place on earth, after all). His favorite rides were the training (shocking), the monorail (even more shocking), the teacups, and the roller coaster (well the first time). Connor also got to go swimming and Daddy got to go to the Angels baseball game. Overall it was a great time. Connor did AWESOME in the car (thank you Opa for the letting us take the "cool car" and the DVD player). We are feeling much more ready for the drive to Great Falls over Memorial Day. Coming back home was a little rough, Connor shared a room with us all week and had a hard time going back to his own room. Overall, it was a wonderful time. Here are some pictures of our great fun!
