Daddy had a birthday a couple of weeks ago. I picked out his cake for him.... so I picked out Cars cake for him. Mommy took me to Build-a-Bear and I made a doggy for Daddy that has on baseball clothes and a recording of me saying, "I love you, Daddy". It was a big hit with Daddy. It has been a very fun summer. Mommy got very behind and hasn't posted to the blog in a while. We had lots of friends come visit this summer, including Grandpa and Grandma, Aunt Elisa, Uncle Bob, Emma, Tessa and Fin. The last visit we had was from my great friend Katey and her mommy Lacy. Katey and I really hit it off, I even took her for a ride in my Jeep. My favorite things to do these days are running and listening (and watching) Mary Poppins. I also love "Hit the Road Jack". I'm talking like crazy and making sure I keep mommy and daddy busy as I'm DEFINITELY TWO (ask mommy, she's tired everynight). Overall, it's been a great summer .... and I'll make sure mommy stays more on top of this from now on!
Thomas the Tank engine came to visit me. We got to take a ride on Thomas AND I got to meet Sir Topham Hatt! It was a great day. I was so excited and I cried when I had to go home. Here are some pictures of my great day with Thomas.
Mommy and Daddy took me on a vacation to San Diego. I got to go to Sea World, the Zoo, and Legoland. I LOVED Sea World and watching Shamu splash all the people. I also entertained everyone on the airplane as I "pat pat pat" to help the plane take off (did I mention I really like to watch the Little Einsteins?) San Diegot was a lot of fun. We got to walk in the ocean and go swimming in the pool. Here are some pictures of my GREAT adventure (pix of the zoo are still coming).
The Easter Bunny left Connor a dump truck Easter basket filled with cholocate and TRACTORS. Couldn't have been a better Easter for a 2 year old.
Get it off daddy!On the Saturday before Easter Connor and his little friends had an Easter egg hunt. At first Connor wasn't so sure about what to do. He just put the eggs in his basket and dumped them out but it didn't take long for him to get the hang of it, and to LOVE chocolate. Here are pictures of the Easter Egg Hunt.
Mommy and Daddy couldn't resist... they bought me my very own car for my birthday. I had to wait until it was warm enough out to ride it. At first I wasn't sure about the whole thing... I'd push on the gas, stop and GIGGLE. But I've gotten the hang of it. Mommy is trying to find a way to upload a video so everyone can see. For now you'll have to settle for these pictures.
Connor received a really cool Lightning McQueen book for his birthday and it took a few days, but he has finally discovered the 200 STICKERS that were in the back. The stickers are now everywhere, including all over his cow humidifier (AKA "moo"). Here are some pictures of Connor and his stickers.
(Doesn't daddy look THRILLED??)Today was a big day for me. I had my 2 year check up AND I got to help Daddy shovel the driveway. I have my own little shovel and everything. Daddy and I had a great time.
The doctor said I was doing great! I weigh 34 lbs and I'm 3 ft tall. He said my sentence structure is very, very good for my age. I got one shot today and I didn't even cry, although I wasn't very happy about the whole thing.

Sunday was Connor's 2nd birthday. We had a Thomas the Tank Engine themed party and all his favorite people came to see him. I don't have all the pictures yet (hoping Tante Mo sends some over) but here are some of the initial ones.
Now that I'm almost 2, these are the things that I love to do and say.
1) Repeat ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that mommy and daddy say. I'm especially good at picking up on words that I'm not supposed to say.
2) RUN, RUN, RUN
3) Play with my Thomas trains.
4) "Tonnor" do it!
5) Color, but I get more on me than on the paper. Thank goodness for washable markers.
6) Play cars.
7) Listen and dance to music... especially Sh-Boom and ANY music from the Cars movie.
8) Laundry.... "help lanry"
9) Sit in the bath tub and pretend I'm making cookies.
10) Run away from mommy and daddy when it's time to put on my shoes, coat, get my diaper changed, go in the bath tub.......
My friend Nolan brought his birthday cake to our SuperBowl Party. I definitely get into my work, I take eating cake VERY seriously. Can't wait until my birthday!
